Stanley Spring and Stamping has acquired Micromatic Spring & Stamping Corp. of Addison, Illinois, expanding its manufacturing capabilities and bringing together two longtime suppliers of springs and wire products.

“Micromatic is a strategic fit that will strengthen our wireforming and spring coiling capabilities,” said Reb Banas, president of Stanley Spring and Stamping.

“Stanley is an innovative, high-energy company that shares Micromatic’s commitment to quality and customer service,” said former Micromatic President, Dennis Prociuk.

Prociuk, will remain during a transition period to maintain customer relationships and manufacturing expertise. Founded in 1936, Micromatic produces springs, wire parts and assemblies. The Prociuk family has owned the company since 1973.

Micromatic customers will receive products from Stanley’s 85,000-square-foot facility in Chicago.
